Nikki Hubbard is a trans woman who was arrested after taking action to oppose a violent “patriot march” in Pacific Beach, CA. that involved several of the January 6th insurrectionists. Police ignored violent attacks by the armed fascists that day, only arrested antifascists, and the far-right DA then went out of her way to prosecute the arrested antifascists to the fullest extent possible. As a result, Nikki has been sentenced to four years in a men’s prison – a situation that is extremely dangerous for her.
